I've just started BBC at UWS this semester and am planning to transfer to Macquarie because it will be more convenient to get to.

What do I need to successfully transfer?
I was thinking about dropping units, but will i still be able to transfer?
Can I transfer right after this semester? ie January next year(or whenever teaching starts)

I think this question may have been asked before, BUT the search button is not working for me....

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Go to student central. They have all the details. I think you need to fill out a transfer form. For business degree you can transfer after first semester of uni. So yes, you will be able to go to Mac next yr. Mac needs a credit average to transfer from memory.
The best advice that I will be able to give you is to check the Mac website and see what is required to transfer and you need to talk to someone at student central.

Hey! I've been planning on a transfer next semester (but to a completely different course) next year as well. You do not need to defer enrolment or fill out anything and hopefully you've already applied through UAC with your preferences already. Once you get your placement in the Early January round (the round most university and non-school leavers get there acceptance) or Main Round is when you contact UWS to defer enrolment.

I've contacted both UTS/MacqUni and USyd to which they replied they will require at least one semester of results, work experience, awards etc is an advantage. However, UWS has a GPA out of 7 whereas UTS etc have it out of 4 so please use the GPA Calculator for MacqUni to work out your results and your GPA. I'd say you'll need a credit average but I have heard from other UWS Students who have managed to transfer to UNSW with a pass average so it comes down to popularity of the course in the end.

PS. Sorry I just saw this post. >__<"

So i want to transfer out to either UTS or Usyd but im sitting on a gpa of 5.25 out of 7 and im not sure whether or not this will be enough for me to transfer. I know i have to pick up my game in my law subjects but is there any chance of transferring after next year?

if that's a credit average, you'll get in np.
