Hey i'm currently doing civl/enviro engo but during HSC I really wanted to do biomed engo. I was just wondering two things:

1)Is it worth transferring? I.e. is there many career aspects in biomed?

2) And how would i go about transferring?

Note I go to UNSW

Well, biomed engineering is basically science. So in the end it's a bit hard to gain any career progression as the science field in Australia is a bit dead. Biomed is more of an innovative subject where you sell ideas. I've also heard a lot of people finding difficulty in gaining any job related to bio med engo.
If i were you, I would stick with your degree. It is perfect - with the growing need for sustainable activities your enviro engo will bound to get you a job. Similarly, there's a strong demand for civil engo. However there seems to be an oversupply with civil engo people nowadays (so i'm not sure whether the strong demand for civil engo will last).
