okay. so theres alot of confusion about public transport and getting to your campus.
this i have to ask... is it worth getting a rail/bus pass??
i just looked at the prices and they are horrific!!!!
my planned trip to get to the milperra campus (bankstown) involves me going on a train to liverpool to get on a bus that goes directly to the campus. now, my problem is... is it worth paying $50 bucks for a rail pass that only lasts 28 days?? just to go two stations away =/
its ridiculous!! so a single ticket to liverpool is $1.60 but a return is $3. 3 times 4 days = $12 a week for rail. for bus fare... direct bus to uws = $1.60 each way, total = $3.20 now times that by 4 days... $12.80 a week for bus
so this makes it look like NOT getting a pass is cheaper.
i do not want to waste an excess amount on public transport if im not going to uni everyday of the week.
what do you people thinkk? what are YOUR planned public transport trips? and how much are you paying?
