i aced mine

99.5/100 - 4u maths - top in class and most likely state
100/100 - 2u maths - top in state definately (2nd was 65%)
100/100 - adv english - massive ace considering i only studied 3 weeks prior
100/100 - extension english - it was SO easy
95.5/100 - physics - made me depressed for a while
97/100 - chemistry - i deserved 100! RIG!
89/100 - mandarin (language) - FUCKING PISSED OFF!

Obviously a troll. Why? For these reasons:
-Your profile indicates you will take your HSC next year (2010)
-You can't do 2u Maths & 4u maths- Doing 4u means only taking the 3u and 4u papers.
-Top in Adv. English? When you spell "definitely" as "definately"?
-100/100 in English Extension? Despite it only being a 1u subject?

Only the extension people seemed to think it was ok, it destroyed me completely. I think all the other 2u people had problems with it, I know a lot did. Really depressing, I don't wanna get this test back, sir said we need 50/120 to have any real chance of gettin a uai over 70 and now that doesnt look like happenin...

Guess all i can hope for is that some people got even less...

typical top 10 selective school-er...

not only does he/she know exactly what marks/ranks they got, they also know the exact marks/ranks of specific people since like year 11

isn't that common though? like we know exactly where everyone is for pretty much all subjects.

maths 2U - 1st
maths 3U - 1st
biology - 1st

then chemistry - which, by the way, I have been coming first in the whole time since year 11 - 2nd!!!! =O ARGH!!
second doesn't sound bad...it's a good rank. but it was such a dreadful mark, I cannot bear to even type it on the screen ='( I'm not talking like a mark or 2 behind first....like, I didn't even get above 80%.....GOOD BYE CHEMISTRY!!!!
actually, looking at this now, i suppose it isn't that bad. but seriously, I am not happy with this band 4 performance! I want a band 6!!!
now to study my bum off for this little quizzy on november 2...
and then english tomorrow? oh shite, this will be ever so funny!

Although I topped 2U by 9% (but cumulative I think it puts me second by a small margin >_<)

Ext. 1 was alright ... Disappointed still. I don't know proper marks on this.

DW bout it. If your planning on doing extension 2, your 2 unit wont count. Its all good.

CSSA Adv Eng Paper 1: 29,5/45 (wtf I got 7/15 for the essay =_=)
CSSA 3U: 71.5/84 (2nd in exam... prob 1st overall)
CSSA Physics: 70/100 (4th in exam... hopefully 4th overall)
CSSA 2U: 45/48 (q1, q4, q5, q8)


FML english =_= ah well wat is yr take on it guys??

Only 37/45, quite pitiful from what i could've gotten. I'm hoping that the modules paper will save my english. Nevertheless, my rank shouldn't change all that much

Yea, I know. I'd just like to do my best, although it was hard accelerating and going up against a more competitive cohort in Mathematics than my own.

english modules paper-
module A- 19/20
module B- 18/20
module C- 17/20
= 90% (top by 5 marks)

AOS was crap- still have the essay to get back and need 13/15 to maintain my rank (1st)

chemistry- 75% first by about 6 marks so i'm damn happy i'm 1st in that now

legal studies- 84.5% our class is so crap the next mark was 71% i'm 1st overall by so much

french- 84% so annoyed the girl who was second got 87% and now she's 1 mark ahead, lost my rank so now i'm 2nd

maths- not even going there my 2u rank is 7th which is so dodgy and then my 3u is even worse 8th.


i really don't want to do the HSC i'm not doing as well as i should be, losing ranks in the last assessment is so frustrating!!!

ohhh this is sooo depressing..
most people in this thread got above 90% in their trials

i only got 68% in my english paper 2 exam
89% in maths
and a miserable 45% in ext 1 maths


this is soo depressing

aww i dont think your doing badly. everyone on this thread is just smart

grrr soo pissed off. luckily these trials were only worth 10%

CSSA english advance - 78/105 (damn yeats, stuffed me up big time)
CSSA chemistry - 80/100 (stupid industrial, and made alot of silly mistakes)
CSSA ext 2 maths - 76/120 (epic fail of my life)
CSSA physics - 67/100 (really really pissed, easily could have got over 90%, but the marking was really harsh and i did a lot of silly mistakes)

CSSA = a huge wake up call for me

next trials (worth 20 - 30%), gonna kill it.
