They deducted 3 marks from everyone who included only one related text when question said to "discuss *insert crap* with reference to related textS". Does any one know if they've ever done that in the HSC?
dnno about "3marks" but yes if it's plural it's considered part of interpreting the question that you include the right number of texts. plural = always always include more than one or you will not get full marks - you're not satisying the criteria.

this is what our teacher's told us..he's a senior marker so yeah..

Witness in Module B is the easiest module or text to get very good marks in, you just gotta discuss film techniques to a certain extent and answer the question always.

97 is awesome. Actually you can bullshit your way through chem cos thats what i managed to do. I seriously made up answers. i have't listened to any of the stuff in class this year and i still managed to get 75%. I had no clue about reflux but made up answers and got full marks for thsoe questions. Either im a freaking bullshit queen or my teacher just has no idea how to mark.[/quote]

Maybe at ur school u can bullshit, like you said ur teacher might be lenient in marking. But my teacher has marked the chem hsc for 12 years (this isnt a contest ppl dont post back saying how long ur teachers hav marked for), and through almost every answer i gave there were read crosses and the words "so?", "relevence?", "and?". So you can absolutely not bullshit my teacher.

Most people are mature enough now not to do that.

Had i not said anything, i am willing to bet that there would have been comments posted saying "yeah? well MY teacher wrote a book", "yeah? well my teacher invented the HSC", "yeah? well my teacher once bought drugs from the director general of education"
