chemistry: 64/100 (3rd :S)
physics: 64/100 (5th i think)
3u maths: 55/84 (3rd)
4u maths: 35/100 (help!!)
ancient history: 83/100 (2nd)
eng adv: 77/84
religion: 33/46

i stuffed up :( :(
personally i feel really bad about what i got...even though they seemed high compared to everyone else in my grade. i nearly died when i got my 4u results...i knew it went bad...but not THAT bad...even with the teacher not modifying the paper (we hadnt learnt a fair bit that was in the exam).

looking at these results i should start studying for hsc soon...
is it still possible to get a uai in the 90s with results like these?
(keeping in mind the scaling and other modifications to raw marks)

The raw marks don't look too flash, but maybe your exams were particularly hard. Either way, the ranks look alright.

What kind of school do you go to?

ZOMG, some of the marks on here are absolutely crazy! Congrats!

In an attempt to procastinate (as I've lost motivation for all forms of study what-so-ever...), I present to you my Trial marks (the ranks are over-all assessment marks)

English (Advanced) - 88% - 2nd

Chemistry - 80% - 2nd

Ancient History - 91% - 1st

History Extension - 86% - 1st

Maths Ext1 - 78% - 3rd

Maths Ext 2 - 48% - 2nd (Don't judge! LOL. Only two people in the class and we both DID not study. Oops.)

Studies of Religion I - 74% - ?/75 (I'm aiming for a rank above 27. I came 27th last year and I'd very much like to beat my PB, lol. Considering I'm an atheist and I think SOR is a complete and utter waste of my time, >27 is a good aim)

OK, it doesn;t look like i'm getting any other back soon. (lazy sod teachers)

English Paper 1: 37/45
English Paper 2: 32/60 (Had a massive mental blank before the exam, keke)
Music Practical: 14/15/15/17 all out of 20.
Maths: 81
English Extension 1: 31/50 (Yuck.)
Software: Pending
Music Aural: Pending

I thoroughly disappointed with everything bar English Paper One. I'll get roughly 60 in Software (No study at all, not to mention not knowing half the course) and Music tends to fluctuate above 75. That said, i'll get 60 or so.

As for my ranks... (These are all the final assessment ranks.)

English Advanced: 7/mid 40s
English Extension 1: 3rd, possibly second if I am lucky.
Maths: 5th.
Software: Should wind up first, i'm ahead enough as it is.
Music: Hopefully I kept 2nd. All depends on Aural.
English Extension 2: 2nd/3

Adv. English paper 1: 87% (3)
Adv. English paper 2: 73%
Drama: 77% (1)
Ext.English: 58% (1 out of 1)
Art: 92% (1)
Music: not sure yet (2/3 i think)
Jap: not sure (2 of 2)

these marks werent as good as i've hoped and some suprisingly bad (ext.) for my other 2 extension assessments i got band 6's.
i got also just got 100% for both my art major work and my inidivdual drama (costume design) so stoked about that :)

I'm glad to see that everyone else has done well. Congratulations!

I had my results finalised today. I'm not particularly happy with my performance in the trial exams. I was down with the flu for an entire week just before my trials started so I missed out on classes and had to learn some things in chem & maths on my own. Thankfully my overall ranks are saved by stronger results in previous assessments.

Adv English: 99/120 Exam Rank: 4/95
Raw Assessment Mark: 88/100 Overall Rank: 4/95
I won't complain about English. We've been told to expect a 10% increase to our raw mark after the HSC. I'm prepared to try a little bit harder.

Biology: 96/100 Exam Rank: 2/44
Raw Assessment Mark: 98/100 Overall Rank: 1/44
I will try to maintain that in the HSC. We've had fairly standard assessments all year through. My teacher said to not expect more than 3-5% increase.

Chemistry: 90.5/100 Exam Rank: 1/54
Raw Assessment Mark: 92/100 Overall Rank: 1/56
I'm quite happy with the rank but not really with the mark because I don't think it was a particularly hard paper, although others seem to disagree. I'm aiming for mid 90s in the HSC.

Maths Ext-1: 73/84 Exam Rank: 3/56
Raw Assessment Mark: 93/100 Overall Rank: 2/56
I'm actually not happy at all with my marks in the trial because I've had a 98+% average all year and this time ridiculously silly transcript errors alone like writing a minus instead of a plus costed me 8 marks.

Maths Ext-2: 77/120 Exam Rank: 3/21
Raw Assessment Mark: 74/100 Overall Rank: 2/21
Yeah, I know. This one was SHOCKING! My teacher apparently does this every year to, quote, "scare you girls into shape for the HSC". She wanted this to be hardest exam of our lives, and oh yeah, she got it. She has predicted mid to high 90s in the HSC for everyone in the top 5, but I know this will only be achievable through hard work. Despite all these reassurances, I honestly don't know what to think about MX2 right now so I guess I'll have to work, wait and see.

With only 44 days to go until my HSC starts, I think it's about time I ended my post-trials holiday. :)
