Hi there, I've accepted my offer however when I click on 'Check Course Details' I can't seem to expand the bar which has my course. Also, when I click on 'Enrol in Units' it says .

'Sorry, but you do not have any Courses that you can make enrolments for.'

Anyone know what's up?

Thanks.

Usually first years do go in for enrolment but I don't know what they are doing this year. Maybe post a screenshot? Usually you click on the blue bar at the bottom 'I want to... view the selected course in detail' to see your course

You can't do it until after you actually go to the sessions and enrol i think. Well I can't seem to do that either...

Does the same for me aswell! So I'm assuming (well according to the really confusing handbook) that we have to rock up to uni on the designated dates and rooms (diff for each course) to sign up.

I also found out it's a different date altogether if you're claiming credit for previous studies completed at another university. Argh, I have till the 25th to fill out my claim form *sigh*

Here's the cut-and-paste text we're using at work for all confused new students. Answers a couple of issues in this thread:

As a new undergraduate student you will not be able to select and enrol into units until you attend the compulsory pre-enrolment session. For the moment, please complete sections A-F under the 'My Offer' menu in eStudent, and plan your program of study using the online handbook to follow the requirements for your degree. If you have difficulty planning your study an academic advisor will be able to assist you during your allocated pre-enrolment session.

Your pre-enromlent session time can be found from the following link:
http://www.student.mq.edu.au/enrol/undergrad/new/UAC2.htm
Enrolment info (for all students) is available at http://www.student.mq.edu.au/enrol/

Textbooks won't be listed on eStudent... communicating required textbooks is a rather haphazard, non-existant system, unfortunately. Best way is to see the unit outline (if its available earlier than week 1 of semester), or sometimes they're listed in MyMQ (another system you'll get access to... I guess, at some stage, but I'm not at all involved with this). The Coop bookshop also has a list, assumign the lecturer in charge has given it to them.

...if that all fails, spam the course convenor/lecturer in charge with "what's the damn textbook" requests :)

As you said 'think' rather than 'know' or something else implying you're sure, I'll rehash. This is outlined at multiple points through your enrolment process...
