I'm doing International Studies this year and my timetable says (eg. ASN101) that I have a lecture on Monday, and tutorials on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Current students my mate has spoken to have said that one lecture = one tutorial.
Is this true?

I think she means for every lecture there is a tutorial. If that is the case then it depends on your course. For me there is usually 5 hours per subject a week, with 4 hours of those lectures and 1 hour tutorial. Usually there is only one tutorial per week

Okay. For ASN101 I have a lecture on monday. There are tutorials for tuesday and wednesday. I was wondering if it's best to attend a tutorial for both tuesday AND wednesday, but some students say that one tutorial would be enough if you only need to attend one lecture for that week.
