Hello,
We are En and Kat, who have graduated from Fort Street High School. We are both experienced and highly competent english tutors (with Kat studying Education and English Literature in university) with access to high quality notes and sample essays. We are dedicated to moulding your ideas and understanding of literature into a sophisticated and band 6 response.

We specialise in Preliminary and HSC English Advanced, Extension 1 and Extension 2, however tutoring for biology, drama, economics and preliminary math (2 and 3unit) are also available upon request.

En attained
English Advanced Rank of 11/161, HSC mark of 97/100.
Extension English 1 Rank of 8/40, HSC mark of 47/50
Extension English 2 Rank of 4/20, HSC mark of 47/50

Kat attained:
English Advanced Rank of 8/161, HSC mark of 98/100.
Extension English 1 Rank of 12/40, HSC mark of 46/50
Extension English 2 Rank of 3/20, HSC mark of 47/50

How our tutoring works:
As we are both located in the inner west and city region, that would be the ideal location for tutoring, however depending on the distance, we are willing to travel. We also offer online tutoring, where you send us your essays and we can have it back to you marked, and with comments, within 24hrs!

highly recommend enny and kathy they are simply the best!! they were really helpful during the HSC so once again I recommend them!

if their hsc results is not an indication of their capabilities then I dont know whats wrong with you all. Their marks are simply OUTSTANDING

A ranking of 8th internally and a final mark of 98? How is that even possible? Or was 98 the external HSC mark? Gosh your cohort must've killed english! Anyone state rank?

well its not surprising cause people who were ranked 130s/164 ended up getting 86 or 88 for english

lots of us were clustered arund 88-89 then we had like 60 or 70 B6 for english

but unfortunately no state ranking for some reason

If you require online tutoring it is a slightly more complicated process than face-to-face tutoring as you would have to transfer the tutoring fee directly into our bank account. Paypal is also available : ) but of course the best option would be to tutor one on one, as we mentioned we are willing to travel to the burwood and strathfield region

How would you charge for online tutoring though? Is it still $25/hour for how long it taeks you to mark or is it like $10/ essay or something?

With online tutoring, we would require you to email us your essay so we can estimate a time on how long it will take us to mark (usually 1-1.5hrs) but the hourly rate for online tutoring would be $25/hr

Having gone to school with En and Kat I can vouch that they are absolutely AMAZING! You’d be hard pressed to find English tutors who can boast better results and such reasonable rates. So get in quick before spots fill up!!

... is exactly what I thought. I was ranked 8th at Baulko (we had four state ranks) and got 97. But congratulations nonetheless, and all the best with your tutoring!

Highly reccomended.
Towards the end of year10 averaged a B, but throughout prelim and hsc had help from kath and ended up with a B6!
If your looking for English tutors who know their stuff, pick these guys.

I totally recommend these guys for any kind of english assistance. They are dedicated to their students and helping them excel in their studies. These guys are bubbly and just great to be around, not the kind of slackish tutors that you get quite often. Learning english with them will never be a bore and I can assure you that!

Having been tutored by En and Kat for a little over a term, my results have improved significantly, lessons are really productive and we write essays together during lessons as oppose to other tutors giving you an essay plan and then give it to you and you struggle at home to write the actual essay. Their exam techniques are also really useful! Everyone should consider getting tutored by these two!
