fahad didn't get a 99.95... he graduated from arthur philip w a 97. something, he got into med after doing undergrad
That’s def possible, some unis have different weighting for ucat and atar. Eg flinders uni weighs 10% ucat 90% atar whereas unda is more like 60% ucat and 40% atar (as long as u get over the 94.4 atar hurdle then ur in)

💀 wtf r these universities 'flinders"? also given u know allot ab this stuff, what does an assured pathway do?
Just search the uni up tf 💀 it’s in South Australia

Also an assured pathway is normally 3 yrs of an allied health course (eg biomedical science) that guarantees u entry into postgrad med at the same uni without having to sit the gamsat

Because even these assured pathways are a) difficult to get into (eg unda needs to consider ur ucat plus interview) and u need to maintain a certain gpa/wam across ur course years or b) its assured as long as ur in the top 10% of the cohort (which is difficult considering that ur cohort is prolly filled with sweats that also wanna get into med)

These assured pathways aren’t even that common, the only unis that have considerably good pathways are unda, monash, usq and just a couple of others (no good ones in nsw apart from unda)

Also keep in mind that some assured pathways still require mmis or panel interviews

It’s okay, private uni with a heavy focus on Catholicism which is fine for most ppl but annoying for some. Also bach of med/surgery (assuming ur looking at jcu) is another way of saying doctor of med but only for undergraduates. So this might be 5 years. But a doctor of med is a postgraduate course, u need to have completed another Bach degree before this. It’s normally 3-4 yrs
