Anyone know the UMAT cutoffs for UWS GWS (weighted, roughly), JMP section 1, and UTas? Thanks :)

jmp is 50, 50, 50 in all sections minimum

No one knows for sure about uws but section 3 is almost ignored so do really well in sections 1 and 2

idk about utas but they accept 45 for some section I think

Oh ok thanks but do you know approximately what the lowest mark cutoff last year was, like 60? is that true for JMP section 1?

Oh actually, for JMP it's 50 for all only for RURAL students. For others, it's around 60-50-50. (they consider S1 to rank applicants).

UTAS is an an oddball. Unless you're from Tasmania, it's very difficult to receive an offer. You need almost/basically 100 UMAT.

And yea, UWS changed their formula last year so I don't know anymore :/

From strolling through medstudentonline - the cutoff for JMP was 60 for S1 in 2013 I think.

Basically, to maximise your chances - smash S1 and S2 (JMP and UWS). But I have friends who got unsw offer with 49 in S2 but 99tile in both S1 and S3 so just depends what you're aiming for.

I had a pretty sub-par overall umat but because S1 was good, got into Newcastle.
