um no. most of them have the same questions, but each booklet's question order will be shuffled up and some may have 1 or 2 questions that are different.

Hence it's different!

It's often more than 4-5 different questions for variations in each section.

Can someone link me to the Newcastle Uni web page with the table showing uai/umat requirements?

And also, what do i need to take with me next week to the UMAT exam? i know about the birth cert and id etc but anything else? stupid question i kno but pens pencils etc??

Haha it's not that simple for UNCLE, they base BMED entry on a min 95 uai for non-local students, it's a threshold. A umat raw score of 190+ is needed for an interview.

You should of gotten an email or read the acer umat booklet. No only 2B pencils, erasers will be needed UMAT 2008 Guide: "All other equipment...are prohibited and their use will be considered an act of cheating."

Entrance scores are for you to research, but they vary form year to year so don't rely on what you hear.

Someone earlier said you needed to sit UMAT for some Pharmacy courses. Are you sure? Pharmacy has only been a new thing for me, previously I was looking into Commerce, but in the little research I've done I haven't seen any mention of UMAT.
B Pharmacy at UNSW or USYD, do you need to sit UMAT?

EDIT: Realised you have to sit STAT, and registration closed sometime in May. So long for Pharm >.<

It varies from Uni to Uni. For UNSW, the cut off is 95 BUT the median is ridiculously high at 99.5. For UWS, it's cut off 93 if you're living in the greater western sydney region or 95 if not. The median for UWS is also quite high.

You can sit STAT later on this year new dates will be in the UAC guide you recieve, Usyd only required stat for non-school leavers.

I'm 8am at the showground too, its shit.

The test actually starts at 9am though right?
so we don't have to get there earlier than 8am?

Will it be necessary to arrive maybe 1/2hour earlier than the suggested arrival time? Or will registrations start at 8am/1.30pm? (meaning that the exam will start at an indefinite time)

Just to be on the safe side yes arrive early! Registration starts just before that time. But yeah it normally takes an hour+ for the exam to start, their procedures is to wait untill they have a decent number of people registered and in the venue before the lock the doors, then you have to wait till the exam papers are distributed.

Med is 93.45 without the bonus four points for UNCLE. Section 3 is the worst.
