Hey!
I was wondering if you were interested in attending an economical UMAT preparatory lecture in January for the UMAT 2013 paper.
I received a 100%ile this year, after preparing for it in the last few weeks before the actual paper (I did one exam in the summer holidays but that was it), starting with REALLY low marks but bringing them up. I found some essential tricks and ways of looking at the paper that would enhance your skills, and complement any practice paper, even just the ACER ones.

Details:
Date: 2nd February
Time: 10.30-4
Cost: $60 for lecture, $20 for notes. $40 for notes if lecture isn't attended

Ultimately, the UMAT is a ranking system. In order to succeed, students must find unique ways of tackling problems, thus gaining an edge over others. However, this fact is seldom considered in preparation, as students struggle to do what everyone else is doing, resulting in average marks. This lecture will move beyond the routine UMAT preparation and provide little-known yet essential tactics and ways of looking at the paper that would enhance any student’s skills and give him/her an added edge over many other students.

The extensive notes (which are optional but highly recommended) contained detailed explanations of ways in which to tackle questions, complementing and expanding on material covered in the lecture. Practice questions and detailed solutions will also be provided. Through both the notes and the lecture, Zelia will convey her way of breaking down question types and explore the ways in which to answer them. This main strategy, along with others detailed in the notes, resulted in her finding minimal questions challenging in the actual UMAT. She finished all 3 sections with ample time; enough to check through all her answers.

Since the UMAT is essentially a competition, students need to gain an edge over others and a unique way of looking at questions in order to attain the top marks. This is why although many people prepare rigorously for the UMAT, there is no obvious trend between preparation and results. Why not try a unique method of tackling questions that has been proven to work; one which few know of?

If you are interested, please pm me! Look forward to hearing from you!

Cheers

What were your section scores?

Details: (note - these are ballpark; I need to know the interest level first. sorry)
Date: mid-late January
Cost: Less than $100
Duration: 5-6 hours

Extensive notes will be provided, which contain detailed questions and solutions, and ways in which to tackle questions (in the way that I figured out a couple of weeks before the exam, significantly increasing my scores). I will be breaking down types of questions and ways of answering it, such that when you sit the UMAT paper, there will be minimal questions that you will find challenging. These include tips and explanations that NO companies disclose.

As an example, when I sat the UMAT paper, in Section 1, there was 1 question that I didn't know how to tackle. Section 2, there was 1 passage that confused me. Section 3, there were NO questions that I couldn't solve. I finished all 3 sections with ample time, enough to check through all my answers.

If you are interested, please pm me! Look forward to hearing from you!

Cheers
