I got a UNSW interview, with a predicted UAI of 99.
I also did medentry, I would say it was pretty useful for section 1 for me.

Could anyone give me some indication, if I do well in the interview, and get a 99 UAI, would i have a pretty good chance of getting into UNSW?

On the brightside you did better than one of my bestfriends 0-20 lol. Yeah, their's always next year, in my friends instance it's been two years, haha.

Seriously think about applying to JCU, Graduate med, other pathways, etc.

That's a great percentile, you should get offerrs from every uni, if your uai, etc is suffice. But yeah if you don't want to do med don't do it, 11+ years of learning if you want to be a specialist!

cccclaire You should easily get in, if you get your predicted uai, etc.

Got a UNSW offer for an interview with them.

I did f2f. Did a few past papers.

Pretty stoked, actually. After scoring 62/110 in f2f's mock trial, it was rear up and head down, studying for this exam.

P.S. Are my UMAT scores actually enough for UNSW med? :(:( My predicted UAI was 99.85.

Does anyone have anyone idea if this score is good enough for any dentistry courses? In particular University of Melbourne?

Thanks!

Yeah, if you get above 99 or around 99 and do alright in the interview you will prob get in.

Average interview offer scores at UNSW:
The following Table gives these and other scores:

UMAT UAI
152 100.0
168 99.5
175 99.0
188 98.0
201 97.0
215 96.0
227 95.0

and if u did and expecting uai around 98, i'm sure u'll get a late offer interview so hang in there =D !!

well, i don't actually know what my predicted uai was, but my school's median UAI is 97, at the time I did the application, I just came out of my half yearlies, where i got below average in a lot of subjects so =S i guess my predicted uai was about 95 or something ><"

the only prep i did was the practice papers from ACER, so i think i did ok =] i dunno if i actually want to do medicine though *sigh*

yeah, maybe the school was stingy with the UAI prediction. =/ I still have to get 99 to get an interview to go to UNSW. geez... i'd be happy if i got 96 >< ><

Hey guys

1: 58
2:53
3:48

%: 67

I've ruled out UNSW, but do you reckon I still have a chance at UWS? I haven't applied yet, but there's always late round? It's in my preferences, I might just move it up a bit (NSW was higher). Also, is there any comparitive table for UWS like there is with NSW, or a UMAT cut-off?

Thanks :)

UWS is one third umat, two thirds interview so if you blitz the interview, you'll definitely have a chance

Thanks mate, but do you know what the umat cut off is? Like, to even get an interview? Because my friend got a little lower than me. Thanks
