Just a couple of questions for those who did UMAT

• was it hard?
• how do u study for the test?
• is tutoring needed to do well in them?

Sections 1 and 3 can be studied for as:

Section 1 uses problem solving skills

Section 3 uses logical skills to recognise patterns

The tutoring is useful in the improvement of these skills, basically as it is something that improves if you practice i.e. the practice papers are useful.

Section 2 is much different, it is hard to study for as it tests your understanding of how others feel (empathy) as well as how they react. This type of skill is developed more through your own personal experiences.

UMAT can be hard to some, easy to others, depends on the person.
