None what so ever. They canot hook up the digital speedo required as it is AWD. None in the state. Im 100% correct on this one.
Are you saying there are no cop WRX's? Ive seen on the news before m8, they do have WRX's

the thread starter is an idiot about the plates, what are you gonna do, memorise 1000 of them, but i reckon this thread would be good to think about common signs of undercover cops

Colour: white
Model: holden or ford?
Number plate: yellow type?

year: 2000+ ?
tinted windows?

driving style: are they allowed to speed, do they usually speed? as in: are they allowed to go 5 or 10k over?

thanks alot
oh wow. its amazing how this thread's name had number plates in it and you havent read a single number plate yet  and i dont think there are 1000 undercover cops that roam YOUR area.... so i dont think you need to work your brain that hard ;).

no. thank YOU.

All I can say is, what a crock of shit! Police canot "intice" someone to drag them, as that would be breaking the law. Its 100% bull shit mate.
um, yeah they can .. a few of my guy friends were on the pacific highway near port macquarie and some 20-something guys pulled up beside them and started challenging them and revving and shit. so they went for it, got pulled over, the driver lost his licence and his car got impounded.

Ok heres how it goes.

A. There is NO WRX Subarus in NSW Police, full stop.

B. Undercover Highway car can be any colour, although at the moment majority are white with GT stripes. They are not alowed to speed unless expiditing to a job. They only use the stock yellow number plates. There is one undercover Highway car to a LAC in NSW and you can find out how many LAC's there are in NSW off www.police.nsw.gov.au. They have tinted windows if the LAC can afford it, and most can.

C. If your on about Magnas? These are not alowed to enforce speeding, like any other non-higway patrol car. They do not have a certified digital speedo. Same as the falcons and crappadores.

If you want to take it up with me further, leave your msn address and I'll tell you more off the forum.
lol my MSN is in my profile :D
and is your (c) point saying that falcons and commodores arent used as highway patrol cars? i've only seen one magna btw, but it is a marked car, and i havent bothered trying to figure out if it is a highway patrol car or not, doubtful though. and what was the point of the link, i didnt get it.

i cant be bothered to argue too much, but i will quote some stuff off other forums, though i doubt how much it would change your view...

Around in wollongong they have a few undercover cars that catch afew ppl out, i.e. people try to race them at the lights . One is a brand new blue magna.
Some Police Officers, are now flaring up in undercover cars, such as: - A WRX to Monaro, I have witness these doings. There was a 4cyc Rice box, the undercover Monaro and I lined up at the Great Western. The Monaro was revving his car and carrying on like a tool. I just simply ignored him. The Monaro and the 4cyc rice box a 200sx hit it off the line i sat back watching and keeping a fair speed later on I saw the monaro flash his blue and red lights on his dash to pull the 200sx over... tough luck to the mate in the 200sx... he lost the race and then got fined. I smiled.
You may have already heard the rumors Police in fast cars undercover!

No not commodores, fast cars:D i mean't one point for me.

Back to the point my friend told me that he has seen undercover police in both a BMW M3 pull over some guys in a skylines a bit of a shock they have this little blue light etc.

Also they have a Supra not sure the colour apparently it is lowered has big chromies & stainless exhaust and the whole dark tint thing happening.

Be WARNED do not provoc them & don't let them provoc you they are waiting for a response & excuse to pull you over.

I heard rumors unitil i saw it for myself, they have been spoted mostly south of the river & scabs beach & all the local hang out areas for performance car owners.
im not 100% certain about the third one, but the other two are referring to NSW undercover cars.

well, i live near our police station's car park, so i guess i could go some time and try figuring out how many undercovers there are, but it would have to be a time where i would be certain that most cops were off duty and were at home.

Thats a crock. It's illegal to do that. Tall tales. NSW have in car video systems and if that was sent to the evidence dept., which it would be, the officers would lose theyre jobs. Your "guy friends" are full of shit
The car video system is prity new isnt it? Maybe the story occured before they installed them? Im sure they can still get a race going as well, rolling forward alittle would be enough to do this in some cases along with hand gestures the 'video' cant see.

As for it being illegal, its illegal to speed to... but Ive seen on many occasions this occuring. Yes you can say 'oh they are going somewhere that doesnt exactly need the flashing lights'..... but one time in a 60 zone i saw one go passed at like 90km/h...... in the direction of the police station!

LMFAO

I suspected it had a lump... thats why I mentioned other key features, namely the GT badging. And Im not saying I actually 100% recall seeing one, just thought I did!

As for 'you shouldnt be posting in a car thread'...STFU, apart from anything related to cops (Which Im either guessing comes from you being one of those physco's who stalks them and wants to be a cop, but gets knocked back for pyhchological reasons when your older OR your regurtitating what Daddy has said to you) I havent seen you display your great depths of knowledge elsewhere in this forum about other far more detailed car issues. In anycase though, this isnt a specialised car forum, if your so knowledgable, you might be better suited to one of these.... although Im not sure how far talking about cops will get you their......

EDIT:

And in relation to what cars are cop cars.... dunno if this site is 100% accurate or not, but interesting none the less!!!

BeastHouse I saw a previous model blue Subaru WRX with a policemen in full uniform camping at the entrance of my street WITH POLICE vinyl.

Today I was driving up a road and I spotted a red Alfa Romeo GT and I was like cool until I got closer and the POLICE vinyl appeared. I sped up from ~63 to ~72 km/h to scope the car :( but the car didn't do a U-y and pull me over *sigh of relief.

police vinyl, you mean they had the checkerboxes and the police sign on the outside of an actual alfa?

yes, an Alfa Romeo GT. i know it's a GT from the headlights and that's one of the things I look for to differentiate it from the other Alfa Romeos from the front and i paid so much attention to that car and sped up to scope it out but from the distance and the sunlight i didn't notice the POLICE vinyl until i was 10 metres away. we were heading in opposite directions and it was behind a line of 3 cars.
