Whats the internet like in the colleges? Looking at Phillip Baxter. Like, speeds, price, etc.

uni wide is currently free and you SHOULd be able to get uniwide in the colleges (not 100% sure about that).

That is to say, it'll be free if peopel stop abusing the privledge. Someguy downloaded 8gb's in one day.

i live in philip baxter. Uniwide signals are really shit (base stations are in the ASB). Internet is supposed to be provided through the sockets in your room or the computer room. Sometimes you're lucky (have a room next to the ASB) and you get a steady signal.

Pricing is 0.6 cents per meg in the colleges, but extremely fast speeds. Since I'm a cse student i prefer to use the uniwide in the cse labs and study there.
