Hey ppls,

I applied for med last year (at most aussie uni's) but got no interview etc. My UMAT was the downer mainly, but my UAI was that hot either. So yeh, I'm doing physio @ usyd atm, which is challenging enough, but I'm going to have another shot at undergrad med.

So yeah, if u are a uni student atm and are applying for undergrad, well even postgrad med.. post up :)

Oh and yeh, I'm having a bit of trouble finding out what exactly happens when they create a 'new entrance mark' with taking in 50% uai + 50% uni marks. Does a new UAI spring up or something? how does that work?

Thanks

UAI remains the same. It's combined with your wam for UNSW. I'm applying, but am rather leaning towards grad, since it will take me 7yrs if i transfer anyway.

Is WAM calculated on the basis of marks or grades? And how is combined with your UAI?

Lex answered it. Ishq asked if it was calculated on the basis of marks or grades, so he said it was marks as well as explaining what the acronym meant.
