Since every other on campus accomodation now has a dedicated thread, I thought I'd start one for UniLodge. I lived there last year and for this year I've migrated up to the 4th floor - yay. Who am I going to meet there this year?

lol, accommodation shortage? There's ALWAYS an accommodation shortage!01169 said:Hopefully with the accommodation shortage this year there will be more locals staying at unilodge.
not really, last year there were spare rooms for 1sr sem in b&G and fennerchromaKi said:lol, accommodation shortage? There's ALWAYS an accommodation shortage!![]()
paying for both is standard in non anu owned properties.chromaKi said:Oddly enough, it's got a fixed pricing as part of the utilities. Apart from that though, I have no idea. It'd be pretty sucky to have to pay for the ethernet port as well as the data!
that's like saying "i paid for my mobile but believe all calls should be free".chromaKi said:Oddly enough, it's got a fixed pricing as part of the utilities. Apart from that though, I have no idea. It'd be pretty sucky to have to pay for the ethernet port as well as the data!
i think its 2.5 now jason? or does that not apply to UL?jas0nt said:that's like saying "i paid for my mobile but believe all calls should be free".
either way it'll probably some crazy-ass price like 5cents per meg.
I don't drive mostly (the car lives at ursies with my sis and comes out if i need to get to the other side of the city or something) I don't cycle though either... (I have a slight bike phobia since I had a big bike related accident when I was younger) I just walk everywhere - thats another plus for unilodge, it's central to both uni and the city so walking anywhere takes just 5mins.It's Canberra, Neat. Why don't you cycle around like the rest of us?
