And having an IGA or other supermarket on campus is the stupidest idea I have ever heard. So what, you are going to do your grocery shopping at uni, carry it around all day, then take it home on the bus? Or just walk it to your car (for the few people who drive to uni? I'm not sure about you, but I don't think many people would bother lugging around their washing powder and toilet paper.

the only thing it would actually sell would be food that can be consumed on the spot i.e. like all the union food outlets at the moment.
I would use it just before I'd leave, I wouldn't do it in the morning and carry it around all day, that's just stupid. It'd save me going out of my way to Ashfield on the way home everyday, but I guess with things like fresh meat and milk and such, they'd be a little iffy by the time I got home.

I found it funny that only 1 person gave me a flyer today, maybe I give off the vibe that I don't give a shit? If I had have voted, it would've been for that Roz character, but only as she looks good.

How 'bout you coordinate a campaign where you poll over 3-400 first preference votes, then talk? :)

How about your candidate learns the difference between e.g. and i.e.

Just gives her more credibility which is important to maintain when attempting to sound like a serious candidate by having "bigger and better parties" in the same policy statement. (Bull special election edition).

Just tips on how to actually win elections. Or maybe I shouldn't talk because I haven't lost any elections recently.

I'm assuming it was Rose, Roz, Danielle, Tanner & Tom who got up?
Or did Monica get up in the end?

Doesn't change the fact that you still lost.

A dog backed by NOLS or Labor Right would get more votes.

Tanner or Danielle or Tom - two of them, assuming Tanner got in. Hope Danielle did.

But who else got up?
Monica or Tim - doubt both did (you said Libs got up, so I want to know which one Monica or Tim).
Who got the other two places Danielle or Mark or Tom

In other news,

big congrats to:
Rose - I love this girl. She's incredibly orsum. Although her policies leave a lot to be desired. But <3
Tanner - did something different with his campaign. It took balls and paid off.
Roz - stole a lot of my policies for next year (even though she didnt know me then :p). I look forward to working with her in the union.

Danielle/Tom: i havent heard a single think about them, really. Although tom did have an ok election document.

A left wing union. Fantastic. More fucking protests.

It wasn't a complete failure though. Yesterday afternoon, I met a rather large number of students who stood opposed to Falun Gong, and recruited them into the ISA. All in all, 900+ students read The Update, including some who reported that they tried out Beccy's (Malfoy) recipe from the first edition, and loved it. And most importantly, I believe I got my message out there, representing my faculty with pride.

Good results all round. :)

Interesting to hear that Mark was the first candidate across the line. Must have been the cowboy hat.
