Okay. so for year 12 you need to do 10 units with at least 4 subjects ?

so if i do 12 units for the HSC and i do very badly but still pass in one of my subjects..say physics..then that doesnt get counted in my hsc? but i still get a certificate saying that i passed phsyics?

If your talking about UAI, the top 10 Units are counted. You would still get a certificate saying you completed the HSC course for Physics I guess.

You can only fail by not going to school or not handing in assignments. You don't fail by getting a shitty mark.

If you complete the requirements of the course. You will recieve a certificate.

And yes, your best 10 units are counted towards your UAI.

if you make a serious attempt and complete assigns, you get a cert. if not, your screwed. the end.

i am pretty sure you are correct as english is the compulsory subject so yeah.
