yo guys,
im in yr 11 atm and interested in becoming a dentist/orthodontist but unclear which courses to take to get there. Which is the most efficient route to be able to practice dentistry through uni?

Live in syd, nsw
have strong maths and science (phys and chem) background. enjoy maths + science (esp chem)

Getting into dentistry/orthodontist is based on competition, theres no cut off and you will be up against perfect students.

Wtf are you guys talking about. look at csu dent etc, clearly "perfect" students. Stop scaring the kid.

Just get a 99 plus atar and a decent umat, you're almost guaranteed in unless you are exceptionally awkward.

csu sounds so good, so pretty much need a 99+. Is there any way of getting early entries? Sp pretty much 99+, good umat score and dont do a retarded interview

Some unis don't even use umat/interview. Just around 99 and ur in (e.g. Griffith dentistry lol).
