So, I just got Dux of the School and my school didn't nominate anyone yet for 2011

Should I go ask them for it?

Remember that it is the highest average across both Year 11 and 12.

If you feel confident that is you, just ask. I'm sure they won't be fussed filling in a form.

I'm in the same position as you, and I asked my school and they said because it isnt due until October 31 they haven't finalised the nomination yet.

Turns out the principal was in the middle of doing it lol I felt so embarassed

The Dux of my school got a whole stack of books and a $500 Dymocks voucher

Your school nominates you for it - so you ask the school.

I think it was October? The principal had to apply for you. But just look it up on the UNSW Scholarships website.

And they tell you once it's been confirmed. Basically the school nominates whoever they think is 'top' with UNSW as their first choice, and that's it.

sorry guys i meant like once you've received the scholarship, when do you have to contact UNSW in order to secure the scholarship? I did not mean contacting my own school.

I'm getting this and my brother got this a few years back,once the school has nominated, they will contact you if you gain successful entry into their university
