I believe the only way to get a new card is to go to FM Assist: http://www.facilities.unsw.edu.au/fm-assist/student-id-cards

If you're a new a student it's recommended to go to the library, where people will be set up to give you one there, until early march I believe.

I can't seem to long onto to zmail - is there a reason why I can't do this? I've accepted my offer and enrolled in all my classes - should I call IT?

does it say "zmail error" or something, because i had the same issue. It's not an incorrect id/password problem

If you want a student card, you'll get it at O-Week. There's like a big line and then you also apply for student concessions and whatnot.

It's suggested to do it before O-week, because the queues get long otherwise.

I did it at O-Week. First day. Line was long but I had friends (BoSers) in line with me so we just chatted and got to know each other.

Did 2U math and am taking MATH1131, I am going to enrol at UTS ext-1 bridging (they offer night sessions). How much do I have to pepper my angus to do well in MATH1131?

Do your tute questions weekly, don't leave study til the last minute. You'll be fine, so much free marks throughout the semester with in-class tests, online tests, etc.

MATH1131? It's mostly high school revision. But you did 2u, so just remember there are 3u and 4u students that will be doing the same as you and you're immediately on the back foot.

So just do what Mature Lamb said. Also get a good study group going, if you can.
