hey guys i just found out i might have to move to canberra next year. just wondering if ANU commerce/actuarial is as good as the commerce/actuarial at UNSW.

Don't think so. Actuarial, arguable. For Commerce, I think UNSW is better.

For commerce degrees, differences between ANU and UNSW are negligible. For actuarial majors, ANU is also accredited by the institute so its fine. If you have to move to Canberra, ANU is perfectly respectable.

Best Actuarial is at Macquarie University, hands down. Best Commerce in general is at UNSW.

Go to uni that you think suits you better.

If you are moving down to canberra, it's logical to go to ANU.

All these uni guides suggest that UNSW is the best in commerce but in reality, that's always arguable.

If you are into prestige, go to UNSW. If you believe that prestige doesn't play much role, any uni is fine.

Actuarial Studies? Macq is more known for that in comparison to UNSW.
