hello! unfortunately i didnt get my top pref. of double law at unsw but i ended up getting double commerce
i've wanted to pursue law/comm at unsw for a while now and im still determined to try lol (didnt do LAT as im gateway, and IPT doesn't require LAT since internal)

idk if i should do law at another uni & try to transfer (received offers and waiting to hear from more)
or is doing commerce + media (media was another degree i was interested in doing w/ law) until i get 48 UOC and hopefully a decent wam to attempt and transfer :')

any help or advice is appreciated haha
thank you :)

I don't quite get what double commerce means... Is it a Bachelor of Commerce/Diploma of Commmerce? Because that doesn't really make sense... If you want to pursue a double degree in law/commerce and the school isn't what's important, then it doesn't really matter. But if you're determined for UNSW for any specific reason, maybe you might as well stay at UNSW and take some law electives just for the sake of letting the profs to know you for any future convenience.

Also you already finished your HSC? Sounds like they're having it early this year.

With a double degree it's unlikely to have law electives... So I guess the doing law elective approach isn't going to work... Just focus on increasing your WAM which should be the entry requirement for Law School transfer. Have a check at UNSW's transfer requirements, they will have it written specifically.

I’ve looked into it and it seems like the wam cut off is between 75-80. Idk if that’s hard to achieve or not cause I’ve got no comparison. Here’s the guide I looked at:

If you did everything correctly, a 75-80 should be achievable.
