Did everyone who had UNSW someone amongst their UAC preferences receive an email regarding the SMART START and ACCESS programs for 2011? Just checking because I wanna know if only the eligible candidates received it...

I received it too.

I'm guessing only those who've been successful with their EAS application received it.

Does this mean we are automatically considered into their ACCESS scheme?

I never actually applied for EAS but I still received an email regarding the ACCESS scheme, so perhaps everyone is eligible. But then again my school is from a pretty low socioeconomic area so perhaps that's why I received it.

"NSW Priority Schools Funding Program (PSPF), Country Areas Program (CAP) and Australian Government National Parternship for Low Socio-economic Status School Communities Program Schools
Current Year 12 students attending one of the above schools do not need to submit an EAS application IF this is the only Type of Disadvantage claimed as UAC generates an 'electronic' application so universities can take this into account in the selection process. Applicants who wish to claim additional Types of Disadvantage (eg. financial, illness) must lodge an EAS application."

Does anyone know if we gain any extra points by being from a school that is funded by the PSFP? I heard we gain extra points, but I can't seem to find anywhere that definitely says we do..

Thanks in advance! :)
