I qualified for their EAS though so hopefully I can still get into it...

Failing that, I want B.Sc (nutrition) at USYD, ~90.10

First preference = B Education (Secondary: Humanities and Social Sciences)/B Arts (83.10).

There seems to be a lot of people (including me) doing courses whose cutoffs are much lower than their UAIs... I'm glad to see that people are actually doing things that they're passionate about, regardless of how low the cutoff is.

Big let down with my UAI, considering all my Hsc marks were higher than it, Lowest Hsc mark, English (Advanced) 75.. but oh well, i have to accept it. I get a few eas points for my school being in a disadvataged area. Yay. Desired Course...

B Business & Commerce - UWS - 81.20 (2005)..
87.50 (2004)

What do you think, is there a hope?..

My UAI: 97.6
Desired course: B Pharmacy at USyd ('05 cutoff: 95.4, '04 cutoff: 97, '03 cutoff: 94)

Here's hoping it doesn't fluctuate too much...if it does, i have B Pharmacy at CSU as a back up (early entry)

My sister did her hsc in 1998, and didn't make the cutoff for newcastle combined law by 0.3 (got 94.7 and 95 was cutoff i think), but she somehow got in (not sure if she appealed or what). So it may be possible with a small margin below...

UAI: 72.35 (However, get 5 extra points for applying to newy uni, which all my preferences are for, so we'll say 77.35)

UAI with extra points: 77.35

2005 cut-offs:

Preference 1: Bach of Business - 78.10
Preference 2: Bach of Arts (Ourimbah) - 74.85
Preference 3: Bach of Management (Ourimabah) - 70.10

May get into Business, if it goes down by at least 1 point, however can't see that happening.

But should be right for Arts and Management, however, still deciding whether to get rid of Arts, cos I think if I have the UAI for both, I'd rather do Management and transfer to business at Callaghan campus after a year, as they are similar courses...

So still forever changing my preferences
