Wouldn't know the first thing about hacking but taking down a uni website is not insignificant. Can't say I've ever seen this before (see image below)

It was also there last week due to planned maintenance that we weren't told about. It got to the point that I couldn't do my job because I couldn't access the webapps I needed.

Although I believe him when he says that he has no qualifications - I'm sure that people of the educated persuasion don't use "owned" in their taunts or boasts.

I say 'owned' all the time? :-(

I also often do that in speech. Afaik, there isn't a compelling linguistic reason to not use the conjunction 'and' whilst being able to use the conjunction 'furthermore' at the beginning of a sentence.
