For one of my preferences l chose B Science (Mathematics/Statistics) UTS. One of the documents l have to upload is a personal statement. What do l include in a personal statement :S, my willingness to do that course :S.

But in a hypothetical statement - your desire to do that course - what makes you stand out etc etc

The atar for the course l believe is 72 or 75 but im 100 percent sure its within that range. Without being rude why should l send them a letter for a course which doesn't demand a high atar.

Well, if sending a personal statement is a requirement, and you don't - you won't get into the course.

It's sorta like trying to get into Medicine without doing the UMAT.

l am in year 12 and when applying for UAC it told me to upload a personal statement document.
Pretty sure it's for NON-Year 12 applicants, that is those who are applying who are currently not in year 12 (have been working full time or in tafe for the past year or more, basically anyone not in school right now)

Just re-check if it says that

Also I'm 99% sure it's optional, it gives up to 10 bonus points and you don't have to upload it.

thats true, but Medicine is a challenging course which you need a good UMAT score and an atar of 95 +...in comparison to a course which needs 72-75 ATAR and no external exam to be done.
