Wanted to ask about the exam timetable. What are the chances of a change in time for an exam? My airticket is valid till 27th Nov....

Equity & Trusts - 12 Nov
Administrative Law - 14 Nov

Not bad...at least they're over with in the 1st week. But what happened to STUVAC... :/

heard ds mid av was low this sem. how'd u go haha did the laziness count against you or were you able to cram well enough to do well

Given the amount of work I did during the semester, and the study I did leading up to the exam, my result wasn't too shocking. 2 percentage points away from a distinction, but still slightly disappointed given that my results at uni have generally been a lot better. Then again, this whole year has been a bit of a dispapointment. Think its burn-out. Lol.

Can't quite remember what the average was, but the results were pretty shocking. She showed us the distribution of results, and a large proportion of the students had failed.

How did you go?

couple of tips about the IT ones..

Database Fundamentals

when i did this last sem, it was just multiple choice..and its broken down into the different subject sections which makes it easy to go through. revise the lecture slides as this is the most important thing she uses

Project Management and the Professional 20/11/08 6.9.30pm again need 50% to pass the subject damn IT

This one is like 4-5 essay questions which are really broad and cover most of the course.. i know the lecturer fairly well and he likes people to know the concepts and how it all integrates together rather than just ROTE learning it

uts never had stuvac to begin with.....

If you do business, most of them will give you a stuvac.

But, that is because a high percentage of business finals are near the beginning to middle of the exam period (with some exceptions).

yeah its called tutorial week but that basically means that they put the mid semester exams on that week.

Anyone who did Project Management and the Professional. Any advice? This unit is pissing me off because I have no idea what's really going to be on the test (can't even study as it's to do with your 'work experience' and not the stuff you've actually studied or assessed on which...makes it wtf)
