UTS vs USYD in Information Technology (1 Viewer)

hey guys... what do u think is better university in the course of IT? UTS or USYD??
some would probably say UTS.. cuz they do more practical work or work experience that an employer is looking for...?
and some would say USYD bcuz of its reputation and ranking and employers also look at the university ranking....?
the ranking of USYD is 38 in the world, while UTS is 268..
is university ranking really that important??
what do u guys think is better??

What do you want to do in IT?

USYD is better. Not because the course is better, or that it has a higher ranking (predominantly determined by citations to their postgraduate research papers), but because you'll be surrounding yourself with more brilliant, competitive and motivated people (who ironically, mistakenly think usyd is better), which will help you out a lot more than you think.

USYD has the lowest satisfaction rates for Information Technology courses. UNSW has the highest and UTS is somewhere in the top 5. I was thinking about USYD for IT until I saw that graph. Definitely UTS for IT.
