UWS and Bach of Computing (1 Viewer)

Hey everyone,

Well I have Bachelor of Computing at Parramatta UWS as my 1st preference for the UAC. My question being is with an ATAR of 69.85 and Region bonus marks of 5 and bonus marks of 5 from band 5 in IPT, does it count as 79.85 and would I be considered a good chance getting into the course? The course has a cutoff of 65.20.

Yes, with the bonus points, it will be considered 79.85 ATAR. If the ATAR does not fluctuate considerably then you'll most likely get in.

Omnipotence is spot on. Im pretty sure that you will get in. Your original atar was already above the atar cut off for that course. With the extra bonus boints, your UNIVERSITY ATAR would then be 79.85 (only allowed a maximum of 10 bonus marks). Youre about 14 points above course cut off. You have a very high chance of getting in. Good luck and all the best for your future studies.
