Hi guys

I just wanted to clarify, in the formula v^2 = n^2(a^2 - x^2) (for SMH).
Is a acceleration, or just an unfortunate procedural usage?

Thanks

isn't that usually a big A?

Thanks though I knew I was missing some information in this formula

Edit: nm, I checked it and it is amplitude. Thank you for your help.

it is the amplitude, the HSC defines it as small 'a' for some reason
