Depends what edition you want. There's Standard, Pro and Ent Arch.

Could you elaborate on the differences between those editions and their actual price?

lol errr dude... do i sound like a shop when it comes to prices, they're available at computing stores, harvery norman? office works, you won't make use of Enterprise Architect, depending on what you do but i doubt it, Basically the different versions just have a bit more features in them that's basically it, and i have no idea what features you'll be using.

get the 2003 acedemic adition its costs about 150 thats how much i got mine for, and it has very thing you need. There is only one problem tho programs you make in the 2003 version will not work in the 2002 version and visa versa, but there are programs out there that you can use to convert your projects from 2003-2002 adn 2002-2003. I use VS convert its extremely easy to use.

Personally it's not really worth purchasing it now... since Whidbey is coming close for release by late next year, and Whidbey is extremely promising.
