Venn Diagrams (1 Viewer)

These are fairly straight forward, but are they part of the course?

Will they ask us a question on them in the exam?

umm i dont think they would ask you to draw one but the question usually implies it.. unless you have some other way of doing it
ive seen them in my textbook and the excel book so im guessing they are part of the course?

Venn Diagrams are not specifically part of the course, but knowing how they work and how to construct them can be a useful way of solving some probability. You won't get a question which directly asks to draw a Venn diagram, but you might get a question which asks to calculate the probability of something, and a Venn diagram might be the most effective way of listing all the possible outcomes.

Umm we never learnt anything about venn diagrams in class but we can get by with good old graphics calculator

yeh so i guess they wont ask us to specifically interpret one but we may need to use it to figure out how many people do both general maths and textiles.. lol or something along those lines
