Somebody in my school, put this virus in the school network so now its everywhere around the school (although i don't no what the virus does, but the virus protection just keep popping up saying there a virus)... the school not doing anything and just curious on what the process the school have to do to get rid of the virus....

Are they lagging because they what like have to shut down the whole server therefore some drive (U) will be gone therefore ppl work are gone ??? or that if they shut the server they would need to get rid of the computer virus one-by-one time consuming ????

Lol is this a High School, if so dont worry, it isnt a student, its the DET accidentally getting aids from the non english speaking english teachers and infecting the servers.

But most of the time its the DET and its should be quarintined already, if i were you id get on the admins back about and probably use tactics like Uncle suggested if he is anything like my admin.

Then again u could hack the U drive through console and find where it is and delete it.

Hmm can't remember (short memory), but the virus is already in the computer
and when someone put their usb in the comp it said it detected the virus from the usb (this is beacuse the computer virus is spread to the usb as soon as the usb enter the comp) i don't even think they're a anti-vrius program in the netwrok too :S

Yeah, I lost my faith in Symnatec a long time ago....so I converted to avast! Haven't had any real problems since then, it updates automatically whenever the computer is connected to the internet until the subscription runs out (which can be from 1 year to several years).

our school had one of those annoying viruses. So unless your school has a proper person to fix the problem, which our school not long ago employed a new teacher to be HT from another school. She actually fixed the problem. Now she is HT computing, school admin and my SDD teacher. The problem is probably similar to one we have. Talk to your school admin and check for a patch released by the DET. It just has to be deployed to each computer to fix the problem

All it is is a simple virus scan and clean up on the server.

Failing that, delete the file manually.

1. Get to a large computer projector in your school
2. Login in as admin
3. Open speech
4. Pump up the speaker volume to max
5. Type in "(The dude who put the virus on the computers) is gay."

The dumbshit teachers just rebuilt the computers lmao.

So theres not much you can do yourself.....
