Virus or glitch (1 Viewer)

Hey
Every now and then when I click the IE shortcut on my tool bar something crazy happens; it opens heaps of IE windows. Then it reaches a point, possibly because of all my alt+f4's and ctrl+alt+del pushing that they all just close down.

Now my comp has Norton 2005, and it updates regularly (I did an update the other day). i also have a spyware program, and the windows one, and they don't pick anything up.

Would anyone be able to explain this?

exactly. He must have too much time, not enough life.

I have Lavasoft adware, I don't think I have spybot though

Has anyone heard of Windows Defender Beta 2?

Is this an actual windows program???? I've never heard of it before.

Did you actually do a full system scan or just update your virus protection.

Norton is set to do a full system scan every week I think it is. So yeh, I have done a full system scan recently.
