Hey guys,
I'm doing three viva's as my electives, and I was wondering...
a) how people are approaching their viva's?
b) how they are setting up their summary sheets?
c) what topics and line of arguments are being used?
d) how they got their ideas?

No-one on here seems to have a place to talk viva's for those students who are doing them! Especially for those who are lost :guitar:

I'm quite happy with my elective Viva. Everyone in the class said it was ace.

I decided to approach it differently than other Vivas. The topic is instrument and its repertoire. Rather than analyse a couple of songs or whatever, I decided to focus on the Expressive techniques of the electric guitar, and demonstrate/talk about them during my viva. My summary sheet simply consisted of the techniques. I demonstrated their sound, purpose, etc. and played some examples of songs that used those techniques.

Hi, I'm doing 1 viva voce, and I'm also interested in how other people are doing there viva's.
I have to hand in my portfolio in 2 weeks for assessment AND I HAVEN'T STARTED YET!
My topic is the beatles, and thus far my "question" is how the texture and tone colour of the beatles changed in the period 1964 to 1970. (I'm doing pop culture)
So screwed.
