Viva Voce: Music for Small Ensembles (1 Viewer)

Hey!

Im doing a Viva Voce on the topic 'Music for Small Ensembles' for my Musicology Assessment Task.

However, I am having difficult finding a 'focus area' and would greatly appreciate ANY ideas as to what I can discuss/talk about. If you could help me with this, I would be forever greatful!.

A small ensemble is up to 5 members, but some people also say 8. So that means you can literally just do a band, if you want.
I did a comparison between Cradle of Filth and Heaven 17's version of Temptation.
I found doing comparisons was easier than just talking about the one song, I got a mark that reflected my hard work as well.
Honestly, the key is to be able to a) demonstrate what you're talking about (eg, vibrato, hammer ons, pull offs, whatever) or show the music example for it.
