What marks should i aim for 2 get a uai above 90...
Yes, I go to Caringbah Selective HS.

What marks to aim for? Depends on what subjects you do. Always should aim to be near top of school . Do YOU go to a selective?

mmm... ideally over 90, perhaps high 80's but i've got no idea about how it all works

ideally >94, cos then i can get into any of my courses. >91 would do just nicely though :).

If you do well at those subjects you will get a good UAI. If you think you will be dux then your obviously doing well ...

NB: There are no garuntes in this game called the HSC ...

actually, there is one hidden guarantee that screws eveyone else... *grrr.. looks at teacher for keeping it secret*
IF you come first in the end for a subject, your assessment mark from the school part will automatically be the highest possible mark you can get for that half.

Work hard, and make sure you'll get first in every subject :p

I'm looking at UAI of 99, or there abouts

I pretty much aced all my subjects in the HSC (4 unit maths, physics, chemistry, and english) except for IPT which I think I will go close to failing lol.

Luckily it won't count :gridnod:

That's true, even using lazseeker it can only give you an approximate idea of the UAI you may get had you sat the HSC in 2001.

Obviously for 2002, there will be changes.

That's true because you don't know how well the rest of the state has gone.

and since the uai is a ranking ... hence your problem ... you cant just simply plug in marks and expect accuracy ... you need marks that reflect your relative ranks in the course ... and if you do so lazseeker is very accurate ...

I need 99.4 to get into B science (adv. maths)/ B law at sydney uni. I'm expecting around 99.5, if I go really well could end up with 99.8, but if I go crap it's more likely to be 98 or 99.
