you can get a fake tan which is like painting your body orange.
so why cant you get a fake un-tan?

My skin has a moderate-tan colour and I personally don't like it.
I try to avoid sunlight whenever possible (talk about solariums..) and always wear sunglasses outdoors.

Is there any cosmetic products able to lighten the tone/colour of skin to a major degree (the opposite of fake tan products) ?

Um, no, doesn't work like that. The chemicals in fake tan react with you skin, making it go darker.

Fair and Lovely really does work.
I tan really easily, and I was out in the sun for a while.
I had the worst tan line.
So I put some fair and lovely on it and it got lighter.

And it's pretty cheap as well.
Like 5 bucks a bottle.

But it's pretty hard to find.

Try those whitening soaps that are available in those asian shops. Or try Glutathione......there were heaps of those products in the Phils.
