I dont really think they stuffed up with Vista, most people just say its shit therefore giving it a bad name.. Yeah sure its had some errors but so has Windows XP and if i recall XP when first released had huge problems.. Vista has improved alot and most of the bugs are fixed.. Then there is the issue of people saying Vista requires an expensive computer to run it and all that, thats bullshit to a degree.. My uncle had a god dam 1.8 Ghz running Vista with 1Gb of RAM.. If you actually take a close look at Vista you will notice its much the same as XP despite the code not being the same...
You know what's funny, 5 or 6 months ago you said Vista was shit. You changed your tune awful quick.:)

BTW, you'd think after the "huge problems" they experienced with XP that they'd learn not to make the same mistakes with Vista. If you have to rely on patches and fixes to turn it into a useable system, there's something wrong there, at least, that's how I see it.

Lmao, are you on drugs?

+1
Well everyone has different experiences.

I hate Vista and especially Windows 7, I've used it for about 4 months and I still can't f**king figure out how to search for hidden files in the search option.

N/A
Control panel --> Folder Options --> View --> Show hidden files and folders.

Hidden folders aren't meant to be found anyway, unless you're trying to hide something.

Windows 7 is awesome, I love it. It has so many little features that make computing so much easier, such as the switch to desktop button in the corner.

I prefer Windows XP networking though. 7 tries to be too simple.

No not HDD defraggers... they're fine... though why you'd go with anything other than Auslogics I dunno...

It's REGISTRY defrag tools you have to worry about...
uhoh, i have a 3rd party registry defrag tool that i use every month/couple of months or so (with my current vista ultimate), does this mean i cant use it in W7?
Does W7 have its own registry defrag tool?

btw i have this program called TuneUp Utilities 2009 which i use to tune up, defrag hdd, defrag registry, etc every now and then.
