claw 1001 commercial transactions a
and claw 2001 coporation law

can i pick a unit startin wiv 2... ithought it was for second year but person at enrolment said i could

yeah you can pick a subject thats 2000 level as long as it does not have any pre-req's.

i would suggest you do 2nd year subjects. the first year subjects usually build the foundation for later years so.

2000 level are second year subjects hence it starting with a 2....

you have to check if that claw class has any pre-req's like any other 1000 level claw classes...

Hmm... when I went to enrol, I received a sheet with all the units required for CPA accreditation and it didn't list ECMT 1020 as a required unit. I double checked with one of the advisors and she said I didn't need it. So I chose CLAW1001 and CLAW2001.

I think CLAW2001 is for 2nd year...

EMCT1020 and CLAW1001 are the ones i saw written on the board...i'd say double check it.

Yeah u need ECMT 1020 for CPA, I think the advisor must've got mixed up with CA. For CA accreditation, you wouldn't need ECMT 1020, but CPA accreditation requires u to do additional units.
