Hey there,

are we supposed to know the levels that make water of high quality or bad quality. Like for pH, healthy water is 6-8, and dead water is <1. Are we supposed to know all these levels for hardness, salinity etc

Yeh just try know what how the location also affects these levels, so near a sewage plant there would be an increase in BOD and therefore a decrease in DO. Have a look at question 12 of the multiply choice in the 2008 hsc paper.
