For a firewall, I use my router. Better than any software firewall by far.

My firewall is ZoneAlarm
And for the Antivirus, I use Spybot S&D...
and Symantec, and Ad-Aware 2007, and SpywareBlaster, and Norton.
...And I check program installation agreements with EULAlyser.

Obsessive much? *blushes* well I've had to reformat too many times to take chances any more. But Spybot pretty much gets them all; and everything is top-notch freeware apart from Norton.

For all those poor Windows users who need antivirus:
1) Switch to Linux
2) NEVER use Norton. Or anything Symantec. They're simply really crap.

Doesn't lag like Norton does, but then again doesn't detect any viruses either

Of course it's still one of the better free ones but that isn't saying much.
