What are level I and level II courses? (1 Viewer)

I've read up on the unsw handbook on some courses such as commerce/science (adv maths), and in the program structure they mentioned - in my case- of needing to study 24-48 UOCs of level I science. As much as its reasonably clear to assume that these levels represent difficulty of the elective, I wasnt able to find the list of subjects that is categorised under such. so i was wondering if anyone could enlighten me on this whole level I/II/III system

Courses with numbers starting with 1 (eg. ACCT1501) are level I courses. These are usually cores courses and mostly done in first year (but you can do them in other years as well).
Courses with numbers starting with 2 (eg. MATH2901) are level II courses which are usually done in second year.
Courses with numbers 3 or above (eg. FINS3635) are level III courses.

The numbers do reflect the relative difficulty, and various lower level courses are prerequisites for higher level courses.
