Does anyone know what sports/activites that has resistance training for children and young athletes?

hmmm... Does netball require resistance training? for children and young athletes... someone answer does anyone do pdhpe?

There must be some people who do PDHPE

well the dealio is that resistance training shouldnt really be a large part of a child athletes training program because their muscles arent properly developed...i know that isnt the answer you want.sorry

Resistance training can be beneficial to children if they are only using their own weight. So thinks like push ups are fine.

They can support their own body weight

Understand and implement guidelines and follow rules

Dont add more than a certain amount per week (i forgot this amount but i think it may be 10% of their body weight per week...:S)

I think their may be some other guide lines as well
