What are some techniques people use to write a lot in exams (1 Viewer)

I've heard of and am trying to battery taped on the pen but what other techniques do you guys use to write faster/or more in an exam. Also, how many words can you write in 60 min.

I could write around 800 words for my english essays I think, I wasn't the fastest writer since I held my pen weird and wrote with a lot of force on the page

use a pen that writes nicely
for me i despise ballpoint and i prefer ink or gel ones

Try buying a bunch of different pens and test them until you find one that really works for you.
