i would think it is better to integrate them organically into your arguments. if you're just talking about cases and legislation, you're just regurgitating information and presenting no critical argument as to the question, unless for example, you're comparing dicta between competing authorities which is rare to see in a legal studies paper. briefly explaining the statute, the case law interpreting it, then using reports and media articles as references to form an argument as to the state of law is going to be more effective as a whole in most circumstances.oh thank you so much, that rlly helps!
so just clarifying, i could do two paras on legal as per normal, and then for the non-legal para instead of using cases and legislation, i would just use papers/reports/media articles?
